A celebrated educational innovator with over 30 years of visionary leadership, Dr. Bostic brings a legacy of transformative change rooted in student success, STEM innovation, and career readiness. Since 2014, Dr. Bostic has led SMSD with distinction, launching groundbreaking initiatives such as the Stafford STEM Magnet Academy, pioneering district-wide drone certification for 8th graders, expanding dual-credit and workforce programs, and creating strategic public private partnerships. He championed the philosophy of “STEM to Learn, STEM to Earn,” empowering students not only to succeed academically but also to prepare for real-world opportunities in the global innovation economy.

He is also widely respected for his advocacy in areas such as dyslexia education, wraparound student services, and financial literacy through school-based banking initiatives.
